We see an increase in body fat as a result of a sedentary life, stress, malnutrition and sometimes diseases. In fact, sometimes stubborn body fat may remain in some areas despite weight loss. In such cases, it is possible to get results with liposuction, that is, vacuum fat removal methods. During the pre-operative examination, we decide whether our patient is suitable by considering some factors such as skin quality and sagging condition.

During this surgery, with anesthesia, small incisions are made and the fat is sucked from the problem area with pressure. After the surgery, special corsets are worn and it is possible to return to daily routine, usually within the first week.
After the surgery, we want our patients to pay attention to weight control in order to maintain the given form and shape. Although it is not true to say that if weight is gained, deformation will occur, it is unfortunately possible to deform the body if this weight gain is in large amounts.

Sometimes the skin of the abdomen cannot adapt to the new situation and becomes loose due to reasons such as weight gain and loss or post-pregnancy. In such cases, liposuction alone can aggravate the situation. In such cases, the excess abdominal skin should be removed and the abdominal skin should be tightened.
Depending on the patient's condition, the result can be improved by adding liposuction to this surgery.

After the surgery, you have to wear a corset for a month, as in liposuction. We recommend you to rest for the first week, after which you can return to your daily routine provided that you do not get too tired. After the second week, the pain and discomfort will be significantly reduced. Post-operative scars will remain in the bikini area inside your clothes. The scars that are distinct during the first months gradually decrease in a period of one year. It is also important to pay attention to weight control after the surgery to preserve the result.

One of the most affected areas, especially after weight gain and loss, is the inner legs. This area is also resistant in terms of body fat, therefore sometimes liposuction cannot make adequate corrections in this area. In such cases, it is possible to correct the problem by removing the excess inner leg skin. However, it should not be forgotten that there will be a scar in the leg after this surgery. Postoperative corset should be worn for 4-6 weeks. After 2 weeks, you can return to your daily routine, the swelling will go down in 4-6 weeks.

Another area where weight gain and loss cause problems is the inside of the arms. A better appearance is obtained by removing the excess skin for this area, which most of the time cannot be recovered with sports. Depending on the patient's condition, the surgical scar can only be under the armpit, extending under the arm or behind the arm, depending on the technique chosen. Postoperative corset should be worn for 4-6 weeks. In the first week, edema extending all the way to the hand is normal, these edemas will decrease with movement over time. Scar reduction still takes 1 year, during this period, special attention should be paid to sun protection.
